Welcome to my world. If you’re on this site you’re probably a friend or relative. I expect a Google page rank of around 2,100,000 out of 2,000,000 sites. No, that was not a typo. I’m not doing this for exposure but to share and preserve photos I’ve taken around the world. The sad part is that many, actually thousands of the pictures I’ve taken throughout my life have been lost due to theft, computer crashes and just plain old age. I’ll be adding to the archives for as long as I’m able to travel and snap the shutter (hopefully a long time down the road).
They say a picture is worth a thousand words- thank God, I am not going to type that much. This site is not really for those who have travelled extensively. You’ve been there and done that. Nor are the photos taken in each city a comprehensive view of the city. It’s just a place where people who haven’t travelled a lot can take a peek at the world and maybe get motivated to see it for themselves. It’s my view of the world. I am always open to constructive criticism so don’t hesitate to give me a shout.

My Best Pics

Untitled Document This area is where I present what I consider my best, most artistic pictures. Color, composition and the actual scene all contribute to differentiating a great picture from all the others. I have no illusions concerning my photographic skills. I follow the rule that “even the blind hog gets an occasional acorn”. If you take several thousand pictures a few are bound to be ‘cool’. Viewers may say ooohhh or aahhh and like what they see or the alternative, hurt themselves laughing. Either way I intend to enjoy it and hope that you do too.

Sorry about the time delay and slow expansion of the pictures but to maintain the resolution I had to keep the picture files large. Patience, please.
